Chef Robert Differ’s Seasonal Pie Pop-Up Returns

This November, Pastry Chef Robert Differ will once again showcase a selection of classic homemade holiday pies, thoughtfully packaged and ready for pick-up at Bar Boulud’s Pie Pop-Up Shop. A perfect gift to share with friends, family and colleagues, online pie orders will be available November 6 to 26, 2017.

Seasonal pies include: Tall Apple, featuring a domed flakey crust set atop tender Golden Delicious apples, blended with just the right spice; Traditional Pumpkin, a creamy autumnal classic; Glazed Pecan, premium pecans arranged on top of a classic custard, coated with an aged rum glaze; Chocolate Cream, boasting a rich dark chocolate mousse, set in a house-made Oreo crust and finished with a vanilla Chantilly; and a Macadamia Nut Meringue, showcasing a graham crumble crust, layered with a macadamia nut custard and topped with a delicate coconut meringue.

bar boulud pie pop-up back bayAs a festive addition to the Bar Boulud menu, Chef Differ’s pies will be available by the slice ($8 each) during lunch and dinner service. For those who simply can’t decide which pie will satisfy their sweet tooth, a five-slice Tasting Plate will also be available for $20.

Fresh pies will be available daily but may be limited; 48-hour advanced ordering is recommended.
Pie Pick-up: Available daily between 3 to 6 p.m. at Bar Boulud
Additional pick-up times can be arranged. Thanksgiving Day pie orders will need to be picked up on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
