BBA Sponsored Events

The Back Bay Association holds numerous events throughout the year. These events are open to all members and provide guests with an excellent opportunity to network with area business leaders, get updated on current developments in the business community, and become engaged with the business community in the Back Bay.

Development Support

The Back Bay Association provided support for development projects in the Back Bay Area. By working with developers, neighborhood associations, and city officials, we ensure that businesses have the opportunity to grow in a way that supports the economic vitality of Back Bay. By supporting development projects that the needs of both the business community and the Back Bay neighborhood, the Back Bay Association strives to ensure that Back Bay remains the thriving commercial and residential district that it is.

Back Bay Security Network

The Back Bay Security Network is a working group of retail, shopping, offices, and hotels in the area. Its mission is to "enhance communication, crime prevention and emergency preparedness coordination among and between the members of the Back Bay Security Network and local public safety agencies." The Back Bay Association plays an integral role in the integration of area businesses into this network. It also works to provide a voice for its members and the business community at large.

Special Projects

In addition to hosting events and supporting development and security, The Back Bay Association also plays an integral role in the resolution of various other issues that concern business in the Back Bay. Examples of these projects are the Storrow Drive Reconstruction, "Boylston Street Improvement Plan," Transportation Improvements, Inspectional Service and Public Works, and many others.
