Notch Brewing

Notch Brewing

Come enjoy an evening of German and Czech Lager styles with Chris Lohring of Notch Brewing. From Salem, Massachusetts, Notch Brewing has earned praise and admiration from brew lovers for its lower alcohol “session” styles of beers. Spend an evening with us while we explore the classic styles of Lager Brewing from a master of these styles, Chris Lohring. In this class, hosted by Chris himself, guests will:

  • Taste through a selection of Notch Brewing Co. beers selected by brewmaster Chris Lohring
  • Learn what are the contributing factors to making these styles
  • Learn the differences between lagers and ales, and the history of how these styles came to be
  • Converse during our Question and Answer section of the class
  • Enjoy a selection of our house made sausages, the perfect pair for these styles of beer
