roofTOP Chefs at The Colonnade
Sep 5 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

roofTOP Chefs is a series created by The Colonnade Hotel’s Executive Chef Nick Calias, who has invited his chef comrades to collaborate on a poolside tasting pop-up every Tuesday through September 13 with 100% of proceeds benefitting Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry. Each guest chef will whip up dishes of their own creation and Chef Calias will craft a complimenting dish or cocktail to pair, for a casual cookout-style atmosphere but with flavors you’d be hard-pressed to finesse in your own back yard.

On September 5, roofTOP Chefs will feature Josh Ziskin of La Morra and The Heritage of Sherborn.

Royal Wedding Viewing Party & Breakfast

Fairmont Copley Plaza and Boston Weddings cordially invite you to attend a Royal Wedding Viewing Party & Breakfast on Saturday, May 19, from 6:30–9:30 a.m., to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The nuptials and all the pomp and ceremony will be broadcasted live in the hotel’s elegant Ballroom while guests indulge in a full English (and American!) breakfast, plenty of tea and scones, and wedding cake to commemorate the occasion. A champagne bar will open at 8 a.m. to toast the happy couple as they embark on a horse-drawn carriage procession through the streets of Windsor, offering Bollinger champagne and traditional British cocktails such as Pimm’s Cup and Bramble.

Guests are highly encouraged to arrive fascinator-ready and dress to impress in traditional wedding wear suited for a royal gathering. A raffle at the party will award a grand prize to one lucky attendee – a two night stay in a Junior Suite at The Savoy in London, Fairmont Copley Plaza’s iconic sister property, inclusive of full English breakfast and a traditional Afternoon Tea. A photo experience will be in the room for guests to capture their own royal moments throughout the morning – red telephone booth, life-size cutouts of Royal family members and more!

Did You Know?
Fairmont Copley Plaza has a rich history hosting royalty, foreign dignitaries and countless celebrities. His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, visited the Copley Plaza hotel in 1986 for a private reception in the Ballroom hosted by the British Consulate. See the photo here. Two dozen violinists played from the balconies overhanging the Ballroom and masses of flowers from around the world decorated the room. This was the Prince’s first trip to Boston, visiting for the 350th anniversary celebration of Harvard University.
