Marathon Pasta Specials at City Table
The Lenox, 65 Exeter Street

Whether you’re carb loading to run, cheer, or just because you love pasta, City Table has a several specials in celebration of the Marathon.  Dishes include gnocchi bolognese (Handmade Gnocchi, beef and veal ragout, manchego), linguine with pesto (Wild mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, toasted walnuts), and mushroom ravioli (Portobello mushrooms, fresh basil, garlic cream sauce).  Specials are available April 12 – 14.

Brunch Specials at Davio’s

The day before the Marathon, Davio’s will be serving brunch items in addition to their phenomenal (carb-loaded) dinner menu from 11 am to 2 pm.  Brunch specials include buttermilk pancakes, smoked salmon pizza with mascarpone, and a beef tenderloin benedict, among others.

Pop-Up Bar at Four Seasons Boston

Four Seasons Hotel Boston is hosting Marathon Pop-Up Bar from Wednesday, April 10 through Marathon Monday. The pop-up bar will serve  26.2 brew and wine. Stop in on Monday and enjoy a live DJ in the lobby — PLUS a percentage of the proceeds made on Monday will be donated to the Martin Richards Foundation.

Wednesday – Sunday hours are 4 pm to 9 pm.  Marathon Monday hours are 11 am – 6 pm.

Drink for  a Cause & Carb Special at Oak Long Bar

Over Marathon Weekend, OAK will donate $2 to the Stride for Stride Foundation for every draft pour of Marathon Brewing’s 26.2 Brew (26.2 Brew is a crisp, light ale developed by Boston Beer Company and Shelley Smith, a brewer and marathon runner.) And, Boston Beer Company will match OAK’s total donation up to $1,000 to support the mission; buying race bibs for those who can’t afford to run.

On Sunday, April 14, OAK will be serving rigatoni bolognese with braised veal and oxtail ragu as their carb special to help runners and spectators get ready for Marathon  Monday.  The special will be available at dinner, 5–10 pm.

Lunch at Grill 23

If you’re local to Back Bay, you know that lunch at Grill 23 is a treat that comes around only a few times per year: Marathon Monday is one of those times.  From 12 pm to 4 pm, enjoy a luxurious lunch at the Back Bay mainstay.  The menu features a  dry aged beef and Waygu burger, steak frites, and the New England lobster roll, as well as the full list of a la carte prime cuts of meat.

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital’s Marathon Monday at the Mandarin

Cheer on Spaulding’s Race for Rehab team and enjoy unbeatable views of the Boston Marathon at the annual Marathon Monday at the Mandarin event.  The private party, on April 15 from 12:30pm-6:30pm, provides a 5-star view of the race’s final stretch, along with:
