World Series Celebration Parade Traffic Advisory

Wednesday, October 31, the Boston Red Sox will take a victory lap down Boylston Street to celebrate their World Series win!

The following is a traffic and parking advisory from the City of  Boston ahead of the Red Sox World Series Celebration Parade

Traffic and parking restrictions will be in effect. Fans heading to the parade are strongly encouraged to leave their vehicles at home. Information on Bluebikes, the regional bike share service, may be found here and information on the MBTA may be found here. Walking is also a great way to move around Boston.

The parade route will be as follows: Lansdowne Street, right onto Ipswich Street, left onto Boylston Street, left onto Tremont Street, continuing onto Cambridge Street, right onto Staniford Street where it will end.

The parking restrictions below will start on Tuesday and be in effect until the end of Wednesday.

No Stopping Boston Police Special Event Tuesday midnight & Wednesday at 11.59 p.m.” signs at the following locations:

  • Lansdowne Street, both sides, from Brookline Avenue to Ipswich Street
  • Van Ness Street, both sides, from Ipswich Street to Kilmarnock Street
  • Jersey Street, both sides, from Boylston Street to Brookline Avenue
  • Ipswich Street, both sides, from Charlesgate East heading towards Fenway Park to Boylston Street (near CVS)

The parking restrictions below will start at 12 a.m. on Wednesday and be in effect until Wednesday at 11.59 p.m.. Enforcement is scheduled to begins at 12:01a.m. on Wednesday
