The Office Trivia is coming to MJ O’Connor’s Park Plaza!

Beers. Beets. Battlestar Galactica. Okay, so scratch the last two. But there WILL be beer, and if you got the reference, your trivia team needs you!

Trivia begins at 6:30pm, but MJ’s recommends your team arrives early to secure a spot. Registration is first come, first served and closes after the first 35 teams have signed up (team cannot exceed 6 people).

Join School of Fashion Design to celebrate 85 years in fashion education!

SFD has dug deep into their closets and dusted off dozens of collectible donated garments spanning several decades of great fashion and they’re delighted to share them with you at a live fashion show of collectible vintage fashions donated to SFD over the decades.

The evening will also include a gallery talk with Ren Antonowicz, Historic Costume & Textiles expert, a display of donated works by acclaimed Boston designer Francesco “Ches” DiRusso, a gallery of vintage SFD photos from the 30s, 60s, and 90s, and an exciting announcement from SFD.

General admission is $34, celebrating their 1934 founding

SERV (Society for Event Planners: Restaurant Venues) is an organization of private event managers who provide support and education to industry professionals. The quarterly speaker series includes a panel and networking opportunities over light breakfast. The panel discussions span a wide variety of topics from business and professional development to event technology, vendor relations and marketing, all pertaining to the private events industry with a focus on restaurant venues. Currently, SERV chapters exist in Boston and New York.
