On Thursday, June 21, The Rooftop at The Taj Boston will be transformed into a chic Pop-Up Rose Lounge to toast the first day of summer and the summer solstice. Boasting one of the most dramatic views in the Back Bay, the rooftop lounge – located 17 stories up – features views from the State House and Boston Common to Fenway Park and The Charles River.
Partnering with Chateau Minuty, Cotes de Provence Wines, the evening will feature crisp rosé wines paired with a menu of small bites to perfectly complement the wines, and the space will be transformed into a sophisticated lounge perfect for the first official evening of summer.

The hotel’s culinary team has created a menu that includes something for every palate from omelet and waffle stations, soups and salads, raw bar display, cheese and charcuterie and more. The flower arranging can take anywhere from one to two hours, depending on the complexity and format of the arrangement. Alice’s Table provides aprons for you to wear for the duration of the event. Working with flowers can be messy, so make sure to wear something you won’t mind getting a little dirty.
You don’t need to bring anything out of the ordinary with you – we provide the flowers, vases, and tools you will need to create your arrangement.
