An Intimate Conversation and Cooking Demonstration with Lidia Bastianich
Join celebrity chef, Lidia Bastianich during her appearance at Eataly Boston’s La Scuola. Lidia and La Scuola Chef Donna MacDonald will be demonstrating one of Lidia’s favorite recipes while Lidia shares her insights about the menu and her cooking secrets. Lidia will also be available to personalize copies of her latest book, My American Dream: A Life of Love, Family, and Food. At this event, guests will:

Cult favorite Ivan Ramen is making a return to UNI Boston for one night only.
Ivan Orkin, owner of the famed NYC hot spot Ivan Ramen, is returning to UNI Boston for the third time for a one-night-only. Orkin will present some of Ivan Ramen’s specialties like pickled daikon XO, Tokyo shio ramen, and spicy lamb dan dan noodles — UNI’s à la carte menu offering sushi, sashimi, and street food also will be available.

Join Bar Boulud Chef-Restaurateur Daniel Boulud and fellow Chef Ming Tsai on April 2 for a special menu
Chef Daniel Boulud will welcome his longtime friend Chef Ming Tsai for the collaborative, one-night-only Spring Forward Dinner at Bar Boulud on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Chef Ming Tsai, James Beard award-winner, owner of Blue Dragon in Boston and host of PBS’s “Simply Ming,” will join Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud to prepare a delicious five-course dinner featuring seasonal ingredients infused with unique flavors from their cultures.
This exceptional dining experience will allow guests the exclusive opportunity to meet both chefs and celebrate an evening of food, wine and camaraderie. Bar Boulud’s Sommelier will also pour the perfect wine pairings for each dish.

Breakfast selections include made-to-order omelettes and maple sugar & cinnamon French toast, and on the savory side there will be decadent choices like honey lemon herb crusted rack of lamb, rib eye chops with bordelaise sauce, duck foie gras, lobster & bow tie pasta salad, a full raw bar and much more.
The dessert buffet will make the magic of the holiday come to life with a presentation of chocolate bunny pops, Easter petit fours, strawberry short cakes, mini Boston cream pies and more.
Fairmont Copley Plaza is proud to announce that all leftovers from Easter brunch will be donated to Boston Rescue Mission, an organization that brings food to the hungry and homeless in the city. Executive Chef Laurent Poulain regularly works with Boston Rescue Mission to donate excess food from the hotel.

The Office Trivia is coming to MJ O’Connor’s Park Plaza!
Beers. Beets. Battlestar Galactica. Okay, so scratch the last two. But there WILL be beer, and if you got the reference, your trivia team needs you!
Trivia begins at 6:30pm, but MJ’s recommends your team arrives early to secure a spot. Registration is first come, first served and closes after the first 35 teams have signed up (team cannot exceed 6 people).

Free, one-hour concerts in one of Boston’s most beautiful spaces.
The courtyard of the Central Library in Copley Square, one of Boston’s most beautiful spaces, is filled with music during free, one-hour concerts throughout the summer. The courtyard hosts music that ranges from jazz to classical and from world to folk.
Concerts are moved to Rabb Hall in the event of inclement weather.
Wednesday concerts are presented in partnership with Berklee College of Music and are generously sponsored by Back Bay Association member Brookline Bank.
