The courtyard of the Central Library in Copley Square, one of Boston’s most beautiful spaces, is filled with music during free, one-hour concerts throughout the summer. The courtyard hosts music that ranges from jazz to classical and from world to folk.

Concerts are moved to Rabb Hall in the event of inclement weather.

Wednesday concerts are presented in partnership with Berklee College of Music and are generously sponsored by Back Bay  Association member Brookline Bank.

Farm to Post Summer Seafood Kick Off

Join Post 390 for their “Farm to Post” Summer Seafood Kick Off Dinner.

Enjoy oysters, lobsters and more from our friends at Island Creek Oysters of Duxbury Bay and Snappy Lobster of Scituate. Cocktail hour starts at 6pm with their live action oyster bar. Then, continue to dinner for their take on the classic New England clambake!

Tickets are $55.00 and include a welcome reception, clambake and beverage pairings. Tax and gratuity are included. Limited tickets available.

National Donut Day at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen

Celebrate Pride and National Donut Day with OAK Long Bar + Kitchen

National Donut Day is this Friday, June 7, coinciding with Boston PRIDE week. Fairmont Copley Plaza is waving its PRIDE flag loud and proud outside in Copley Square, and to further celebrate with the community OAK Long Bar + Kitchen will give away complimentary mini PRIDE donuts to its patio customers from 4–8PM on Friday, with the purchase of any drink or food, while supplies last. The three-inch minis baked by OAK’s Pastry Chef Lindsay Le Blanc will be a Funfetti Brioche Donut with Rainbow Glaze.

Chef Lindsay is known for her creative donuts and crullers. Every weekend she bakes a new flavor for the Brunch menu’s “French Cruller” special. Last weekend’s cruller was Orange Creamsicle, and past flavors include Vanilla Bean w/ Peanut Butter, Mexican Hot Chocolate and Raspberry Hazelnut.

Ellie Fund’s 5 for Ellie Fashion Show

Join Boston’s News Leader WCVB Channel 5 and the Ellie Fund at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for an evening of fun, fashion and fundraising!

Presented by The Slater Foundation, the event includes a cocktail reception featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Arias Wine, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and a premium silent auction with mobile bidding. An exciting speaking program with Emcees Maria Stephanos and Emily Riemer of WCVB Channel 5 follows with special appearance by Red Sox legend David Ortiz and a live auction hosted by Sue Brady Hartigan of iHeart Radio. The evening culminates with a fashion show featuring the latest trends curated by Bloomingdale’s and modeled by the newswomen of WCVB, Ellie Fund patients and members of the Newton Firefighters Association. Summer Tunes with Berklee at Prudential Center

Enjoy summer evening concerts featuring talented musicians from Berklee College of Music.

Showcasing a variety of musical styles including jazz, pop, Americana, and singer/songwriter performances, Summer Tunes will take place on the below Thursdays from 5pm – 8pm, with rain dates in August.

Tree House Brewing Company will be on site selling a rotating list of 8 Tree House beers on draft for each event. Entrance is free; must purchase tickets for drinks once inside. More details.
