Summer is too short to stay inside, so let’s revel in the peak of the season together at Piazza all’Aperto, Eataly’s all-new block party series! Bring your fling: from smoking grills to clinking glasses, these free evenings have all the ingredients to end your summer on an epic note.
PIAZZA ALL’APERTO
Free Block Parties on Boylston Street | Thursdays from 5-9 p.m.
Starting August 3, Eataly Boston is throwing the Italian version of a block party every week for the rest of the summer! The block parties are inspired by sagre, the bustling food festivals held in the piazza of nearly every town; Italians eat, drink, and make merry throughout the warm summer nights.
Now, you can get your Italian on with endless food, drinks, and free live music in Eataly’s own Piazza all’Aperto (“open piazza”) just outside their doors! Find them on the patio at 800 Boylston Street every Thursday through September 28.
Entry is free; food and drink tickets are available in advance or at the door.

Tickets are valid all summer
Ready to block party yet? Swing by, make new friends, and start tasting! Your food and drink tickets will give you access to our chefs’ grilled plates; tasty pasta; savory sides; creamy gelato; freshly-filled cannoli; and refreshing drinks (spritzes, wine, and beer) every week.

Food and drink range from 1 to 2 tickets
ADVANCE TICKET BUNDLE | $35

Eataly Boston to Host Venica & Venica Estate
Family owned since 1930, Venica & Venica estate is one of the most prestigious wineries in the region of Friuli. Giampaolo recently took over the winery with his sister and cousins, making the estate four generations strong. White wine thrives in the Venica vineyards, which are spread on seven different hills, surrounded by forest and co-planted with fruit trees.
This dinner will allow Giampaolo to showcase his wines, including several white wines and even one red! Each of their bright, lush and always aromatic styles will pair beautifully with the menu designed by our brilliant Eatalian Chefs.
Celebrate Earth Day at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen
OAK Long Bar + Kitchen is celebrating Earth Day on Sunday, April 22 by turning off its lights from 5 p.m. through closing to conserve energy. More than a hundred candles will be placed throughout the dining room to illuminate the space for an unforgettable “Earth, Wine & Fire” candlelit dinner experience in one of Boston’s most beautiful restaurants.
A special à la carte menu by Executive Chef Graham Lockwood will feature sustainably sourced courses and replace the regular dinner menu for the evening. Each dish will highlight ingredients from New England farms and purveyors (see select farms noted below), and the menu’s wine pairings will spotlight New York State and Oregon wines that are produced and grown with sustainable and biodynamic farming practices. A three-course wine pairing will be offered for $30, or these wines can be ordered by the glass for $13-$18 depending on the selection. Those dining between 5-7 p.m.will receive a complimentary taste of rosé upon arrival. The regular bar menu will also be available.
Sunday’s customers will be some of the first to enjoy OAK as a non-plastic straw establishment. The restaurant is permanently ditching plastic straws starting this Friday, April 20. OAK has already been mindful to create cocktails that don’t require a straw, but for those that do and all other straw requests, Hay! Straws will be used moving forward, which are made from natural wheat stems and are 100% biodegradable. The special “Earth, Wine & Fire” dinner menu will be printed on plantable seed paper, and no single-use item (like cocktail napkins) will be offered to tables.
