Fall Concert: Voice and Guitar at the French Cultural Center

The French Cultural Center presents an evening of French and Bostonian composers.

American artists Matthew Hoch (baritone) and Aaron Larget-Caplan (guitar) present an Art Song Recital by French and American composers, including a world premiere by Boston composer Francine Trester.

The concert is a journey from a poetic French café and countryside, to the gardens and landscapes of Spain and America. This concert marks the celebration of Larget-Caplan’s recent award from the Société Académique Arts–Sciences–Lettres. It will be a dramatic and intimate event by two splendid artists.

Composers: Reynaldo Hahn, Roland Dyens, Joaquin Rodrigo, John Cage, Matyas Seiber, and Francine Trester.

Loews Boston Hotel and Precinct Kitchen + Bar Host Themed ‘Locked Up at Loews’ Event to Celebrate Building History

For ONE NIGHT ONLY, Loews Boston Hotel, home to the former Boston Police Headquarters, along with Precinct Kitchen + Bar are celebrating the history of their building with a night of police themed food, drinks and fun!

For just $20 per ticket, guests are invited to enjoy themed creations prepared by Executive Chef Olivier Senoussaoui like the restaurant’s signature Precinct Burger, a risotto action station, famous flatbreads and more. Specialty cocktails inspired by the Prohibition era will be created just for the night’s event, with beer sampling from local breweries and sweet treats include an ‘Instagrammable’ donut wall complete with all your favorite flavors.

Get ready for your #CELLfie with a custom line up wall. And if the food and fun isn’t reason enough to attend, the twenty dollar ticket price which includes two raffle tickets will help. Raffle prizes will feature overnight stays at Loews Boston Hotel’s sister properties including Loews Santa Monica Beach, Loews Regency New York, Loews Hotels in Universal Orlando and more.

All net proceeds from the event will be donated to DonorsChoose.org.

Catch the Game with Tedy Bruschi at The Lenox

Join Hall of Famer and 3x Super Bowl champion Tedy Bruschi during the Thursday Night Football broadcast of the Patriots v. Giants game

The Lenox Hotel is the place to be on Thursday night October 10th!

Tedy Bruschi will be here to provide pre-game intro, half-time and post-game analysis while the longtime rival Patriots and Giants square up during the live NFL broadcast.

Proceeds from the event will benefit TEDY’S TEAM, Tedy’s foundation that raises awareness of stroke and heart disease while supporting survivors on their journey.

“Paris Via Boston” Concert at the French Cultural Center

Join the French Cultural Center for a musical trip to Paris from Boston in 3 acts.

This event features an international lineup of musicians exploring a French and Bostonian repertoire through piano, clarinet, and vocal performance.

A highlight of the concert is the US premiere of contemporary French composer Jean-Pierre Armanet’s composition ‘The T’, dedicated to our historic subway, the oldest in North America.

The program also includes music for clarinet and piano by Poulenc, Debussy and a dramatic solo cantata by Berlioz, all performed by graduates of the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, which was founded by a Frenchman.

Presented in partnership with Ballets Russes Arts Initiative.
