Join Post 390 for the fifth of a 6-part “Farm to Post” dinner series in 2106. This dinner will highlight the best of Kimball Fruit Farm, a third generation family-run farm owned and operated by Carl and Marie Hills. The evening will start with a reception, followed by a four course dinner.
Tickets are limited and are available for $55.
The final date for the the dinners series will be November 2nd for their “Novemberfest” celebration.

Kimball Fruit Farm grows a variety of fruits and vegetables for the retail and wholesale trade at their Pepperell store and 12 farmers markets throughout New England. Aside from over 70 varieties of award-winning heirloom tomatoes, they are swimming in peaches (white and yellow freestone), corn (white and two color), apples (nearly 40 varieties), pears (6 varieties), and an amazing array of other fruits, vegetables, greens and herbs.
The Back Bay Ringers, Boston’s leading handbell ensemble, invite you to celebrate the holiday season with their concert, “An English Christmas.”
Traditional English Christmas carols will be featured including, “I Saw Three Ships” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.”

The Bristol Restaurant & Bar makes Hump Day the best day of the week with their Burgers & Burgundy. Every Wednesday night, burger lovers can enjoy the object of their gastronomic desire paired with tastings of two Burgundian-style wines. Royal Wedding Viewing Party & Breakfast
Fairmont Copley Plaza and Boston Weddings cordially invite you to attend a Royal Wedding Viewing Party & Breakfast on Saturday, May 19, from 6:30–9:30 a.m., to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The nuptials and all the pomp and ceremony will be broadcasted live in the hotel’s elegant Ballroom while guests indulge in a full English (and American!) breakfast, plenty of tea and scones, and wedding cake to commemorate the occasion. A champagne bar will open at 8 a.m. to toast the happy couple as they embark on a horse-drawn carriage procession through the streets of Windsor, offering Bollinger champagne and traditional British cocktails such as Pimm’s Cup and Bramble.
Guests are highly encouraged to arrive fascinator-ready and dress to impress in traditional wedding wear suited for a royal gathering. A raffle at the party will award a grand prize to one lucky attendee – a two night stay in a Junior Suite at The Savoy in London, Fairmont Copley Plaza’s iconic sister property, inclusive of full English breakfast and a traditional Afternoon Tea. Ascend to Terra for a multi-course dinner under the stars (with wine pairings!) for a culinary tour of the valley with one of the region’s most celebrated producers: Nino Negri. The former winemaker’s daughter herself, Sara Maule, who now resides locally, will guide you through this captivating landscape and introduce the traditions of Valtellina.
The Valtellina is an Alpine valley in Northern Lombardy, just below the border with Switzerland, that was carved out by the mighty river Adda. The valley lies in between the Rhaetian Alps to the north and the Bergamo Alps to the south.
Nino Negri, located in this very valley, was established in 1897 is one of Italy’s most celebrated producers in the Valtellina. The winery operates to this day in a centuries old castle, and uses the original cellars with natural underground temperature control to age their wines.
Each wine will be perfectly paired to savory courses like Pizzoccheri alla Valtellinese, a traditional Alpine pasta dish. You will dive into flame-kissed flavors of the seasonal ingredients prepared over Terra’s famous wood-fire grill as you discover the stories and history behind the dishes and wine.
