Join the Boston Park Plaza as the Garden Suite Terrace is transformed into a lush Tuscan patio for a family style dinner featuring variety of Italian wines from Banville Wine Merchants.

Lia Tolaini Banville will guide guests through the tasting which will include a number of varietals, including Brunello and Borolo, as well as the blend from her family’s vineyard in Tuscany, Tolaini Valdisanti.

As a complement to the wines, the culinary team at Boston Park Plaza will present a family style five course dinner served al fresco on the Terrace.

Castle Island Brewing Co. is all about consistency in quality and accessibility, as evidenced by their being named Best New Brewery in Massachusetts for 2017 by Rate Beer. In this tasting, you’ll hear the story of why and how Castle Island’s founder and president Adam Romanow was able to open and operate a successful brewery in the quickly expanding craft beer market of New England. He’ll also delve into how he was inspired to build their brand through a five-year journey that brought the brewery to where they are today. Join Fairmont Copley Plaza on Friday, March 30, from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m., for a journey to the East and experience elegant whiskies from Suntory: Toki, Hibiki Harmony, Hakushu 12, and Yamazaki 12. A special five-course dinner will be served to accompany the whisky pairings.

The Bristol Restaurant & Bar makes Hump Day the best day of the week with their Burgers & Burgundy. Every Wednesday night, burger lovers can enjoy the object of their gastronomic desire paired with tastings of two Burgundian-style wines. It’s a tasty little opportunity to try something new as the paired wines, chosen by the in-house wine director, will be from bottles that aren’t regularly available by the glass. Burgers & Burgundy costs $35 per person not including tax or gratuity – the burger itself is on the menu (augmented, as it is, with Vermont cheddar, house-made pickles and truffle fries) for twenty bucks so it’s not a bad deal. The French Founders Worldwide Startup Tour, a global competition for entrepreneurs wanting to expand globally. Join the French Cultural Center to hear pitches from five local startups looking to advance to the final competition in New York.

Selected Boston startups will pitch to a jury comprised of Consul General, Arnaud Mentré; Laurent Audoly, President & Founding CEO of Kymera Therapeutics; Yannick Ouvrard, Chief Financial Officer at Keolis Commuter Services; and Damien Balsan, General Partner at Conexo Ventures.

Event in English, followed by a cocktail reception with complimentary refreshments.
