On Wednesday, April 4th, the cheese stands together at Post 390 for a very special Massachusetts Cheese Trail Farm-to-Post dinner. Executive Chef Nick Deutmeyer has invited his cheesiest friends to the restaurant and created a menu to showcase the best in Massachusetts cheesemaking. Representatives from local fromageries like Upinngil Farm, Ruggles Hill Creamery, and Westfield Farm will be on-site to discuss their cheeses while you enjoy a four-course dinner with each course showcasing a different maker. The evening kicks off at 6:00pm with a welcome reception over passed hors d’oeuvres featuring three Upinngil Farm cheeses, followed by a quartet of queso courses, and finishing with a bonus cheese from Shy Brother’s Farm (in case you get the munchies in the Uber). Terra Wine Dinner
Francesca Vajra is one of the owner-winemakers for G.D. Vajra in Barolo and will be joining us at Terra to host a very special wine dinner. Francesca’s depth of knowledge and charm will offer compelling insight into this small but renowned producer in Piemonte known for making both adventurous and traditional wines.
With a matured ripening comes an innate elegance and intensity. The soil breeds the wines to be rich and fragrant. The climate lends to smaller batches, where the quality is palpable. As exemplified at the winery: “We believe in beauty, craftsmanship, attention to detail and creativity with respect for tradition” — and it shows!
Together with G.D. Vajra Wines, guests will embark on an exploration of this beloved winery — from Barbera to Barolo and beyond — alongside a delicious authentic menu from our very own Chef Dan Bazzinotti.

Meet and mingle with other Francophiles while celebrating La Chandeleur!
Also called Crêpe Day, la Chandeleur is a French holiday during which people traditionally eat crêpes and drink cidre. Though la Chandeleur is often associated with the Catholic holiday of Candlemas, it actually stems from pagan traditions. And, of course, there is the traditional coin ritual: if you can flip a crêpe while holding a coin in your other hand, you and your family will not have to worry about financial problems. There is even a fun legend that ties Napoleon’s misfortune with his time in Russia with the flipping of the crêpes!
The French Cultural Center will observe this popular holiday with crêpes and a variety of delicious toppings. All ages are invited and welcome to attend!
Please note: When you register for a family, you are registering per family. You will be required to answer a question on the number of family members that will attend.
Early RSVP recommended.
