Eric Hauck: Highly respected for his cutting edge hair styling and iconic cuts and known among industry professionals for having some of the best razor cutting skills, Eric Hauck has certainly made a name for himself as a leader in the competitive hair care business. He has worked backstage at some of Fashion Week’s biggest shows including Dior, Marc Jacobs, and Helmut Lang and on the pages of leading fashion and beauty publications in the US and internationally. Le Mois de la Francophonie continues with an evening of literature featuring Québécoise author Marie-Josée Duquette. We will learn about her two latest books; one that explores Boston through the eyes of a foreigner, while the other chronicles the difficult story of losing the father of her child to a cruel disease. This discussion will be led en français (in French).

About Marie-Josée Duquette: Marie-Josée Duquette is a Quebecer who has been living in Boston since 2010. Holder of a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and a DESS in communication-marketing from HEC, she writes articles on a blog that tells the different facets of American life.

On Saturday, April 28, Bauer Wine and Spirits will be hosting the Art of Pairing from 4:30-6:30 P.M.

 Art is all around us, it just depends on what inspires you. What makes your mouth water on a cold bomb cyclone day in Boston might not be appealing at all on a hot July Sunday on the Cape. Just as weather impacts your appreciation of a meal, your choice of beverage can take a meal from good to great, or even from great to extraordinary. The Art of Pairing is an educational piece where you can learn the key to a successful meal–the passport for a beautiful harmonious marriage between food and drink. We will be serving Tenure Peach Fizz with smokey pulled pork sliders, Garden Punch- a Rosemary Rhubarb Lemonade, with cornbread, and a Coldbrew martini served with Pecan Pie!

Learn the art of flower arranging for your holiday table, explore all that the Club House at Trunk Club Boston has to offer! Get your holiday fashion vibes going with this beautiful event with cocktails, bites, flower arranging and fashion!

The flower arranging can take anywhere from one to two hours, depending on the complexity and format of the arrangement. Alice’s Table provides aprons for you to wear for the duration of the event. Working with flowers can be messy, so make sure to wear something you won’t mind getting a little dirty.

You don’t need to bring anything out of the ordinary with you – we provide the flowers, vases, and tools you will need to create your arrangement.

Trunk Club is a Nordstrom Company that delivers style to your door. You can also meet a stylist at one of their amazing clubhouses! Trunk Club stylists are men and women who understand that the right wardrobe can help you land the job, feel more confident, or simply free up time for more important things than shopping. The historic Swan Boats kick off another season in the Public Garden.

On April 13, the Swan Boats officially open for the 2019 Season, bringing joy to families from near and far until Labor Day, September 2.

Spring hours (April 13 – June 20) are 10 am to 4:00 pm.  Summer hours (June 21 – Labor Day) are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Swan Boats are open every day, weather permitting. We cannot operate in rain, high winds or extreme heat.

Purchasing Tickets
The Swan Boat ride lasts about 12-15 minutes while the driver pedals you around the Public Garden lagoon. Tickets are purchased at the Swan Boat dock prior to boarding the boat. No reservations are needed. We accept cash or credit card. The wait for a ride is typically no more than 5-10 minutes.
