The Hottest Standup Comedy Showcase Comes to Cafeteria on Newbury

The last Wednesday of every month at Cafeteria features an unforgettable experience combining the most talented local and national comedians, including previous winners of the Boston Comedy Festival, acts that have been on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel, Late Night with Steven Colbert, Comedy Central, Sirius XM and more.

Doors open at 7pm, the show begins at 8pm – previous shows have packed to capacity, so while this event is not ticketed, we do recommend arriving early to reserve a seat.

Join the French Cultural Center for a wine  tasting and dinner with La Voile.

Epicureans rejoice! To kick-off the French Cultural Center’s season of wine tastings, they will explore the lovely wines of Alsace with a wine tasting, followed by a separate three-course pairing dinner.

Come discover the lesser-known wines of Alsace, presented by Alexandre Sojfer, Resident Sommelier at La Voile and 1855 Bar à Vins. Alex will share his expertise working with vineyards from Alsace and why this region’s grounds are so prolific yet less available to the American market than other varietals.

Join Hall of Famer and 3x Super Bowl champion Tedy Bruschi during the Thursday Night Football broadcast of the Patriots v. Giants game

The Lenox Hotel is the place to be on Thursday night October 10th!

Tedy Bruschi will be here to provide pre-game intro, half-time and post-game analysis while the longtime rival Patriots and Giants square up during the live NFL broadcast.

Proceeds from the event will benefit TEDY’S TEAM, Tedy’s foundation that raises awareness of stroke and heart disease while supporting survivors on their journey.
